One bicycle. One hedge. No excuses.

Find yourself.
Regret it.

A transformative overnight cycling experience for people who have become dangerously accustomed to warmth, shelter and reasonable decisions.

Begin your discomfort No tent. No wellness jargon. Usually no sleep.

You’ve been comfortable for years. It’s time to stop.

Modern life has separated us from rain, fatigue, mild navigational errors and the healing power of lying awake beside an A-road.

The Hedge Reset is a carefully under-designed micro-retreat. We cycle into the countryside, locate some technically legal vegetation, sleep badly, then cycle home before anyone asks what we are doing. Through cold feet and unnecessary mileage, you will reconnect with your most authentic self: the one who wants a shower.

“Spiritual growth begins just beyond the last functioning public toilet.”

Let go of everything that no longer serves you.

01

Dry socks

Release attachment to comfort through prolonged contact with British weather.

02

Certainty

Discover the spaciousness created by not knowing whether this is actually a bridleway.

03

Dignity

Experience the freedom of emerging from a hedge at dawn in front of a dog walker.

04

Expectations

There is no luxury accommodation. There is no accommodation.

Twenty-four hours. Four profound stages.

Every retreat is shaped by weather, road closures and how quickly morale collapses.

STAGE 01

The Departure

Meet somewhere inconvenient. Pack lightly. Question why nobody has brought a tent.

STAGE 02

The Pilgrimage

Cycle until ordinary worries are replaced by hunger and a faint concern about daylight.

STAGE 03

The Hedge

Settle beneath living shelter. Listen to the rain. Reconsider every choice that led here.

STAGE 04

The Return

Ride home spiritually corrected, physically damp and newly grateful for central heating.

What previous sufferers are saying.

“It was fucking shit. It rained all night and I still can’t believe we didn’t have a tent.”

— Sarah, spiritually saturated

“I found something deep inside myself: an overwhelming desire to go home.”

— Martin, now indoors

“Never again.”

— Everyone
